Marche Grand-Duc Guillaume

The Marche Grand-Duc Guillaume was composed in 2025 to mark the change of throne in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and is dedicated to Grand Duke Guillaume, the new head of state. The piece reflects three defining qualities of the Grand Duke: royal dignity and strength, radiant joy of life, and a warm humanity with closeness to the people. Powerful fanfares and striking rhythms give the march a festive grandeur, while lyrical lines and warm harmonies create moments of intimacy and connection.
