On a butterfly's wings

With "On a Butterfly's Wings", Georges Sadeler presents an expressive solo work for alto saxophone in Eb and piano. The music tells the story of a butterfly that initially glides lightly and carefree through the air, discovering the beauty of its world with curiosity. But it too is caught by the storms of life. Dark clouds, rain, and obstacles test it before it finds new strength and continues its journey. Thus, the butterfly becomes a symbol of hope, growth, and the ability to overcome challenges. On a Butterfly's Wings is ideally suited for lessons, recitals, and concerts, combining lyrical melodies with a touching musical narrative.
